Q3 호수위에 보트를 타고 있는 사람들. 뒷편 선착장

This is a picture of a lake.

What I notice that first is many people riding a canoe in two rows.

Some of them are wearing hats, and all of them are paddling.

They are reflected on the water, so I guess the water is clean.

In the background, there is a log cabin with terrace.

Next to the cabin, I can see a water mill.

A lot of trees full of green leaves are planted on the other side of the cabin.

Overall, it seems like everyone is enjoying a nice summer day.

Q10

In your response, be sure to

show that you recognize the problem, and propose a way of dealing with the problem.

Hi, this is Joshua Collin, a senior at Eastern University.

I'm trying to reach Amy Ballard, the career counselor to ask for some advice on the interview I have in two weeks.

It's been a very tough year for me because I've been struggling  a lot to get a job all year long.

I've sent in many resumes and had several interviews, but all of them were not successful.

I think I have some problems at the interview.

A few days ago, I got a call from Nelson Corporation for the second interview.

I rally want to get this job, so it's making me very nervous.

Since you are the career couselor, I was hoping you could give me some tips on how to do well on the job interview.

Please call me back ASAP. Thank you!

Hi Mr. Collin, this is Amy Ballard calling back rgarding your job interview.

I understand that you have a important interview coming up and need  my advice on it.

I'm willing to help you with this, and I think it'd be better if we met instead of talking on the phone.

I'm available anytime in the morning during this week, so please call me back to set up an appointment.

Before then, I'd like to you to do some research for the interview.

It's very important to know about the company to be able to do well on the interview.

Also, you should practice some frequently asked questions.

This will help you to feel more confident.

Prepare these two, and we can go over them when we meet. I hope to hear form you soon.

Good Luck!

[Part 6]

Q11

When you make an important decision, do you prefer to think for a few hours or days before making the decision or do you usually decide instantly?

Do you agree or disagree with the following statement?

"The most crucial role of a manager is to help employees acquire new skills."

Give specific reasons or examples to support your opinion.

I agree that the most crucial role of a manager is to help employess acuire new skills.

I have a reason to support to my opinion.

When employees get help from their manager to obtain new skills, they can learn more quickly than trying to learn on their own.

It helps to save time and do their job well.

By teaching and learning together, they get to know each other better which can lead to better coorperation.

Eventually they can make better results as a whole.

Speaking from my experience, I interned at a company two years ago.

I was lucky to meet a nice manager who had helped me to acquire new skills.

Instead of just giving me tasks, she actually showed me how to get things done and gave me work to do.

I was able to work fast without making a mistakes.

In conclusion, I think managers should help new employees to ebtain new skills.
