Q3 그림 공항 대합실

This picture of an airport.

Many people are gathered around by the gate.

Some of them are sitting on the chairs and others are standing.

I can see blue chairs in rows, and they are facing each other.

Several seats are unoccupied.

In front of the seats, many posts with screens are located.

On the left side of the picture, there are huge windows up to the ceiling.

Overall, this picture makes me want to travel.

[Part 3]

Imagine that an American marketing firm is doing research in your country.

You have agreed to participate in a telephone interview about having breakfast.

Q4

Do you usually have breakfast every day? Why or Why not?

I try to eat breakfast every day. Because it helps me to stay healthy and having breakfast gives me energy in the morning.

Q5

Do you usually have breakfast at home or somewhere else?

Since it's hard to have breakfast at home due to lack of time, I usually buy light breakfast such as bagel on my way to work.

Q6

When you choose what to eat for breakfast, what is most important and why?

 *Taste *Price *Convenience

When I choose what to eat for breakfast, the most important thing I consider is convenience.

Since I don't have much time to eat breakfast at home, I usually buy something and eat it at my office.

So I have to eat quickly.

Also, if it smells too much, it may bother my coworkers, so I choose something like bagel or muffin for breakfast.

Q10

In your response, be sure to

show that your recognize the problem, and propose a way of dealing with the problem.

Hi, this is Adam bryant calling from the personnel department.

I'd like to talk to the department manager about the recent relocation and some problems it has caused.

I understand that we had moved out of the city reduce expenses and to provide us more spacious office.

The new office is very nice, and it seems like mostof the employees are satisfied with the office.

But there's a problem with commuting now.

Most of the employees live in the city, so they are spending more money to commute.

Also, due to the rush hour traffic jams, they are having a hard time to commute.

Some of them are even saying that they are looking for some other companies closer to their homes.

It's nonsense if we lose employees this way.

So I wanted to bring this up to your attention, so that we can find a way to solve this problem.

Please call me back to discuss further about this issue.

Response as you are the department manager.

Hello, Adam, this is Nick returning your call.

I just heard your message saying that after relocating the office, some of our employees are having a hard time to commute.

Since it was initially for the employees' benefits, it's upsetting to hear that some employees are even thinking about transferring.

I had a meeting with other managers and came up with two suggestions.

First we should start a shuttle bus service in the morning and at night.

We will give out a survey soon to see what routes we should make.

The other one is to encourage carpool service.

We will make an annoucement at our monthly meeting tomorrow and ask for some volunteers.

I hope these will be able to solve the problem.

Thanks for letting me know about this, and I hope it works out well.

[Part 6]

Q11

With the advanced technology, some people prefer to contact friends or clients by email, faxes, and telephones.

However, some people still prefer to meet others in person.

Which do you like better and why?

I think it depents on the situation.

There are some reasons to support my opinion.

I prefer to use technology to contact others when I'm busy.

This helps me to save time because I can easily call or email them through my cell phone.

Also it's very convenient when I contact someone overseas.

On the other hand, it's better to meet others in person when we talk about important issues such as writing contracts or negotiating.

When we meet, it's easy to avoid misunderstandings since we can answer each other's questions right way.

In conclusion, both technology and meeting in person have some advantages.
