Q11: Do you agree or disagree with the following statement?:
"People should be required to retire when they turn 60." Use specific reasons and details to support your opinion.


Answer:
There are two reasons why I think that people should not be required to retire at age 60.




First, if we make peop,le retire at 60, we are taking away their freedom to work.
We cannot do this in a democracy.
If we do this, then next time, some night decide to lower the retirement age to 50 or 40.




In addition, I believe that the oldest people in our society are often the wisest.
Sure, older people might not have as much technical knowledge as young people today,
but workers over 60 can surely teach young people about correct social practices and manners in the business world.




For these reasons, I disagree with anyone who says that we should make workers retire at age 60.
